HINTALÓ
Rocking horse - redesigning an ever-present development toy
Leaving the stereotypical horse shape I opted for a more abstract look. I played with symbolization. The design and the flow of shape recalls the fastness and the defined, mighty features of the animal.
The structure follows a simple and strict order, paired with visible joints making it possible for kids to track and learn.
The toy is ergonomical for its original purpose but also considers different usage patterns to be safe.
This toy is a lovable piece of furniture that can enrich any space.
The design was selected and invited to the exhibition of the Hungarian Design Award 2021 by the Hungarian Design Council.
